Students in these fields should see their academic advisor for specific requirements.
Students who pursue degrees in teaching fields in the College of Arts and Sciences are responsible for satisfying all the requirements for teacher education as well as the degree requirements of arts and sciences.
Students planning to be agricultural education teachers must complete the approved teacher certification program as part of the requirement for the bachelor of science in agricultural education in the College of Agriculture. Completion of this program satisfies state of Kansas program requirements for agricultural education licensure for grades 6-12.

Completion of this program satisfies state of Kansas program requirements for vocational family and consumer sciences education licensure for grades 6-12.
