Advanced Placement (AP)
The Advanced Placement tests are given by the College Entrance Examination Board (CEEB) in May in high schools offering advanced placement courses.
Cambridge International (CA) - A & AS Levels
Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary Levels (AS Levels) and Cambridge International Advanced Levels (A Levels) are one way to earn college credit. Students who have completed this qualification should have their official scores sent to the Office of Recruitment and Admissions to receive credit. This can be done by going to the Cambridge International USA website.

International Baccalaureate (IB)
The International Baccalaureate subject test is one way to earn college credit by exam.
Military credit evaluation
K-State utilizes the recommendations provided by “A Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services” published by the American Council on Education (ACE) to assess the potential transferability of military credit.
Transfer credit
An additional pathway to receiving credit for prior learning is through transfer credit. Transferability of credit to Kansas State University is determined primarily by the accreditation standing of the transfer institution and the comparability of content of credit earned.
