There are many different pathways to becoming a Wildcat. Take a few moments to review these standards to understand the criteria for admission. In nearly all circumstances, an application for admission, fee, and official documentation of academic preparedness are required.

Policy note

Graduate students who have attended graduate school at K-State or earned a K-State graduate degree, but have never been an undergraduate student at K-State, must file an undergraduate application and pay the application fee.

Pre-College EnrollmentStill in high school and want to earn college credits early? High school students may take college credit through a variety of options.
Returning StudentsIf you have been a degree-seeking student at K-State but took a break during a spring or fall semester, please reapply so we know what term to welcome you back!
Visiting StudentsIf you want to take a few classes at K-State without pursuing a degree, you can enroll in up to 15 credit hours before being officially admitted.

 

CredentialsReady to get started on a short-term certificate or want to gain your post-baccalaureate minor?
OnlineK-State offers online degree plans for students who need flexible schedules and locations.
MilitaryWhether you are active duty, National Guard Reserve, a veteran or spouse/dependent of a military member, K-State supports all military-affiliated applicants.
