Admission / Advisement / Enrollment for New & Readmitted Students


Spring 2001 Semester

I. Undergraduate Student

            A.   New Freshmen / New Transfer Student

    1. If you are a new student enrolling for the first time on the K-State campus, you must be admitted by the Admissions Office and advised by an academic advisor prior to enrolling.

2. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications must be received in  Admissions Office no later than five working days prior to enrollment. No applications will be accepted after the semester begins.

3. When you are admitted, you will receive information about academic advising and enrollment.

B. Readmitted Student
  1.  If you did not attend K-State Fall 2000 or Summer 2000 Semesters, or if you have graduated from K-State, you must be readmitted by the Admissions Office and be advised by an academic advisor prior to enrolling.

2.  APPLICATION DEADLINE: Your readmission application must be received in the Admissions Office no later than five working days prior to enrollment and no applications will be accepted after the semester begins.

3.  You will receive advising/enrollment information when you are readmitted. Readmitted students enroll with continuous students according to the Enrollment Time Chart.

II.  Graduate Student
  A.  Readmitted Graduate Student
  1.  If you did not attend K-State Fall 2000 or Summer 2000 Semester, then you must be readmitted to K-State.

B.  New Graduate Student   1.  If you are a new graduate student enrolling for the first time on campus, you must be admitted through the appropriate academic department prior to enrolling.
