A. Continuous Student--enrolled on campus Fall 1997 and not yet enrolled for Spring 1998 Semester.
B. Readmitted Student--readmitted on campus for Spring 1998 Semester.
C. New Student (Freshmen and Transfers)--not previously enrolled on campus.
D. High School Student--not yet graduated from high school.
E. Evening Student--wants to enroll in evening (those beginning 4:30pm or later) courses only.
F. Late Student--enrolls on or after January 15th.
1. You can enroll as indicated and assigned on your Purple Enrollment form which is distributed through your college or department offices or advisor (see below).

A. With your Purple Enrollment form and the Spring 1998 Course Schedule booklet, develop a conflict-free schedule with your advisor; contact your dean's office if unsure who your advisor is.
B. Obtain any special permission required for courses.
1. Course Section Permit form is to be used if an instructor wishes to have a student enroll in a closed course or in a course where permission is required. The instructor obtains the forms from college dean's office and should complete the two-part form. The student should take the form to enrollment.
C. Completing enrollment form
1. Reference number--indicate the 5-digit reference number.
2. Credit hours--fill in for variable course only.
3. Credit level--indicate if taking course for undergraduate (U), graduate (G), or veterinary medicine (V) credit.
4. Course--indicate the department and level of the course.
5. Title--indicate the title of the course.
Note: Some courses are offered in multi-section combinations only (i.e. BIOL 198). For these courses, sign up for all sections such as quizzes, labs, recitations, etc. which are listed in the Course Schedule.
